I pulled up the last of the late-sown carrots yesterday. Many of them were too small to eat. They had stopped growing a while ago. But those that were edible, were still tasty. And very popular with the dogs.

We finished off the beetroot at Christmas.

The kale is still growing happily, of course. And will make its way into the virtuous January smoothies soon.

In the coming weeks the big garden clear-out will start, getting ready for the next planting.

This is going to be a great gardening year!
