We’re selling up and moving on, leaving our little Ballyer Backyard in Dublin and heading west to greener pastures, and a bigger growing site!
It’s a couple of months away yet but other than the few things we currently have planted (broad beans, garlic, onions and a few cabbages), there won’t be any more growing happening till we’re at our new home in the late spring. In the meantime we’re going to focus on ensuring we have some seedlings ready to go when we move, so we don’t miss too much time.
We hope to have a growing site of approximately one-fifth of an acre, enough for a polytunnel, some fruit trees, veg beds, multi-bay composting area and later, a chicken run.
Exciting adventures in growing await!
Best of luck on your new adventure. Can’t wait to see what your new plot produces. Take care and stay safe. Thanks for the blog, I’m going to miss it.
Thanks Adam, haven’t managed to get out of Dublin yet!
